MOROCCAN GOATHERD

Morocco · November 2021

About the Image
After landing from a hot-air balloon flight in Morocco, the vastness of the landscape gave way to a much more intimate scene: a goatherd slowly guiding his animals across the terracotta earth. Their movement was unhurried, calm and deliberate. Watching him lead and protect them brought a sense of peace that felt suspended in time — a quiet moment preserved in the photograph.

Scientific Perspective
Warm earth tones such as terracotta are often associated with stability, warmth and grounding. The slow, directional movement of the figures creates a gentle visual rhythm, while the open landscape offers space for the eye to rest, supporting a calmer and less visually demanding experience.

Energetic Perspective
The dominant earth element suggests grounding, reliability and connection to natural cycles. The relationship between the goatherd and his animals adds a sense of guidance, protection and quiet resilience.
