Frequently Asked Questions

How are the prints made?

Each photograph is individually produced to order using professional fine art printing methods and archival-quality materials.

The artworks are giclée printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a premium cotton fine art paper, using a specialist colour-managed process to preserve the photograph’s colour, tonal range and fine detail.ype your paragraph here

What paper are the photographs printed on?

My fine art photographs are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a premium cotton-based fine art paper with a smooth, matt surface and a beautifully natural feel.

Its refined finish is particularly well suited to photography, allowing subtle tones, textures and details to be reproduced with depth and clarity, without the reflections of a glossy paper.

Are the prints archival?

Yes. My photographs are produced using archival fine art papers and professional giclée printing processes designed for longevity and excellent reproduction of detail, colour and tonal depth.

Are your photographs limited editions?

Yes. Each size is released in a fixed limited edition:

Small — 21 × 29.7 cm — Edition of 100
Medium — 30 × 45 cm — Edition of 50
Large — 40 × 60 cm — Edition of 25
Statement — 70 × 100 cm — Edition of 10

Each artwork is individually numbered and signed, and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and a personal note from me.
Once an edition is sold out, no further prints will be produced within that edition.

How long will an artwork remain available?

Each photograph remains available while prints are still available within its limited edition.
Once a particular edition has sold out, that edition is permanently closed.

What sizes are available?

My current fine art print sizes are:

Small — 21 × 29.7 cm / 8.3 × 11.7 in
Medium — 30 × 45 cm / 11.8 × 17.7 in
Large — 40 × 60 cm / 15.7 × 23.6 in
Statement — 70 × 100 cm / 27.6 × 39.4 in

Depending on the original proportions of a photograph, dimensions may occasionally vary slightly so that the composition is preserved correctly.

Can I order my photograph framed?

Yes. My photographs are available framed or unframed.
We offer solid wood frames in oak, black and white, with window mount options depending on the artwork.
The available framing choices for each photograph are shown on its product page

What size will my framed artwork be?

The overall framed dimensions will be slightly larger than the print itself and will vary depending on the frame and mount selected.
The exact dimensions are shown with the individual framing option before ordering.

Will my framed artwork arrive ready to hang?

Returns & Print Care

Can I return or exchange my artwork?

Each fine art photograph is individually produced to order, specifically for you.

As each artwork is produced especially for your order, I do not offer voluntary returns or exchanges for a change of mind.

If your artwork arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact me at leka@leka.pt so that I can help arrange an appropriate solution.

This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

Your artwork is carefully packaged to protect it during transit.

If it arrives damaged, please email leka@leka.pt as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of delivery.

Include your order number and clear photographs of the damage, the packaging and the shipping label. Please retain the original packaging until the matter has been resolved.

I will be happy to help arrange an appropriate solution.

What if I receive the wrong artwork?

If you receive an artwork that is different from the one you ordered, please contact me at leka@leka.pt.

Include your order number and a photograph of the item received.

I will review the issue and help arrange a replacement or another appropriate solution at no additional cost to you.

How are refunds or replacements handled?

Each request is reviewed individually, taking into account the circumstances and your applicable consumer rights.

Where a refund or replacement is due, I will explain the next steps and help ensure the matter is resolved as smoothly as possible.

Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

How should I handle my fine art print?

Fine art photographs deserve careful handling to preserve their beauty over time.

Always handle your print with clean, dry hands, preferably wearing cotton gloves. Avoid touching the printed surface directly, as natural oils from the skin may leave marks.

Keep unframed prints protected from dust, moisture and unnecessary handling until they are ready to be framed.

How should I frame and display my artwork?

For the best presentation and long-term preservation, I recommend professional framing using conservation-quality materials.

Display your artwork away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity and significant temperature changes.

A thoughtfully chosen location will allow the photograph's colours, textures and subtle details to be appreciated while helping preserve its quality over time.

How should I clean my framed artwork?

Use a soft, clean microfibre cloth to gently remove dust from the frame and glazing.

Avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the artwork or frame. If necessary, use a product suitable for the specific glazing material, applying it to the cloth rather than the surface.

Never use water, household cleaning products or abrasive materials directly on the fine art print.

If your artwork requires specialist cleaning, I recommend consulting a professional framer or conservator.

How long will my fine art print last?

My fine art photographs are produced using archival-quality materials, including Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a premium 100% cotton paper, and professional giclée printing techniques.

These materials are selected for their exceptional reproduction quality and long-term stability.

When properly framed, displayed and cared for, fine art prints can retain their beauty for many decades. Actual longevity depends on environmental conditions, exposure to light and handling.
